It controls the flow of funds and helps ensure that they are used strategically to grow the business and compete in the market.
MHE’s Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) equips you to empower and expand your business. You will learn to gather and analyse financial data. You will learn to comply with financial regulations and accounting standards. You will develop the sound judgement required to prepare and interpret financial reports targeted at different stakeholders. The expertise available here includes advisory services, taxation, auditing, financial planning, international accounting, investment analysis and strategic planning.
You will not focus only on providing financial information. You will also examine broader social and impacts of your business. You will learn to consider ethical governance and environmental factors and their role in sustaining your business.
This course qualifies you for membership of Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

You will complete the Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) in four trimesters full-time (or
equivalent part-time). This is generally done over two years, with two trimesters per year. The third
trimester of each year is optional and lets you reduce the length of the course to one year and four
months.
A full-time study load consists for four units per trimester. Each unit is worth six credit points. Each unit has two hours per week of lectures and one hour per week of tutorial during trimester for twelve weeks. Each unit should require ten hours per week of study, including time spent in classes. If a unit has a final exam, it will be in the fourteenth week of the trimester.
To qualify for the Bachelor of Business, students must achieve satisfactory grades in twenty-four units (one hundred and forty-four credit points), consisting of:

Advanced standing means giving you credit for parts of the course you have already learned before you enrol. This learning might have been in education or on-the-job.
When you apply to study with MHE, you may also apply for advanced standing and provide evidence of which parts of the course you already understand. MHE will look at your educational or employment background to decide if you are eligible.
Eligibility in the Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) is normally limited to a maximum of
